Presents his new album “Brillando” which consists of awide contents of world music like cumbia, hip hop, funk, rap, electro swing as well as folkloristic South American sounds rich in deep feelings like the
human freedom. Ethnic sounds, instruments like charango, cuatro along with the lyrics, the rhyme and the melody are
the focal point of his career in building a route around the world creating an atmosphere made of musical sensitivity. A
kind of etno-folk urban sounds.
He worked with well-known record producers as Alfredo Toht Gustavo Santaolalla, Pablo Guyot and Fabrizio Barbacci.
The following songs shall be mentioned: “Vidita”, “El Mundo”, “Luz y Sombra”, “Falopero” (Andean hip hop) winning
the “La Resistencia” competition in Mexico among 3000 Latin American bands, “Los ejes de mi carreta” (Atahualpa
Yupanqui) in an electrodub version, “Hay un lugar”, “Los Ultimos”, “Yira el mundo”, “Santa Anita” which was chosen
during “Lo Nuestro” as Best Latin Song in Miami (2002). In his latest album called “Aca y Ahora” (La Zurda
2010/produced by Fabrizio Barbacci) which was recorded in Europe, he collaborated with the band No Te Va Gustar
(Uruguay) and the Italian band Negrita.
In the three albums recorded with the band La Zurda (he was responsible for the composition, voice, charango, ronroco,
guitar, trumpet, harmonica etc.) you can listen to different music sounds and a wide cultural mixture which goes from
Native American songs to the new modern electro sounds.
During his music journeys he shared the stage with well-known artists such as PARALAMAS, EMIR KUSTURICA,
AMADOU & MARIAN, MAD PROFESOR, MOLOTOV, FISHBONE, LOS FABULOSOS CADILLACS, BERSUIT, AUTENTICOS
DECADENTES, CAFÉ TACUBA, TXARANGO, NTVG, LA VELA PUERCA, COCO ROSIE, DUBIOZA COLECTIV, FLAVIA COHELO,
NEGRITA, RICHARD BONA.
He took part to important festivals in the following countries: Argentina, Uruguay, Venezuela, Mexico, Spain,
Switzerland, Italy, Germany which were broadcast through the major mass media.
In 2014 presents the album “Músika y Amor” in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Europe (Italy, Germany, Netherlands)
In 2015 Travels to Mexico performing a concert tour "Luz y Sombra Mexico" in cities like Cancun, Tulum, Puerto
Morelos, Playa del Carmen, etc. Currently it returns from his tour EUROPE 2015 tour, playing festivals renowned as Au
foin de la Rue (Fr), Pole Pole' Festival (Belgium) Tollwood (Germany) Amsterdam Roots Festival (NL) Marghera Village
(IT) Big Rivers (NL) etc.
The new album “Quilombo Sonoro” was released in April 2016 with distribution in Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada,
Mexico and Argentina. This edited by Italian Records label Agualoca performing in different cities of Europe. This new
“Quilombo Sonoro” has been presented in march/april and July/August 2016 again on the European continent. In
january/February 2017 they will present the material in the Caribbean. Musically it is among the cumbia, rumba, rap and
South American ethno-folk. “Argentine Swing” with ethnic colors and world music.
The year 2018 Ema Yazurlo & Quilombo Sonoro starts with a tour of the Riviera Maya (Mexico), passing through cities
such as Bacalar, Mahagual, Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, Cancun, Cozumel, Isla Holbox, Peto, Merida,
among others. His music takes him through countries such as Germany (April) performing at the Querbeat Festival and
in the European summer he performs in different cities of Italy, Switzerland and Germany at festivals such as World
Music Festival (Loshausen) and Horizonte Festival (Koblenz) Presenting his new video of the song "Kien"
